BAM announces intelonline.mobi. Put the power of mobile web behind your brand.
Just as the computer changed our work environment, the smart phone is changing the way we communicate due to people carrying their telecommunication and computing power with them. At BAM we’ve been developing our mobile website platform – intelonline.mobi. The goal is to provide individuals, small business and corporate users with a turnkey mobile solution. Through user insight and collaboration with our web and video partners, we defined the attributes for a positive mobile web experience and incorporated those features that would encourage brand engagement. What emerged was a path to converge static print advertising, promotion and packaging with web-based video and smart phone computing power to create a dynamic brand experience. Engagement is achieved through a smart phone using a Quick Response (QR) reader application that scans the QR two-dimensional bar code. The QR code contains an embedded website URL that when scanned accesses your mobile website. The result is dynamic – delivering branded online content and mobile video directly into the hands of your customer. Adding video to the mobile website enhances brand messaging by providing a memorable story element with authoritative content at the time the viewer is in purchase decision mode. Currently, BAM’s mobile suite has four packages with web hosting included. Smart phone adoption is growing and market data indicates that by 2012, 50% of mobile phone users will carry smart phones.
